Here are some fun ways to use the Carol Stream Park District mobile app:

Choose How to be Notified

On the main menu, use the three bars in the top right-hand corner to view a dropdown menu. Select Permissions.

  • Turn on Push Notifications if you want to receive the latest news and updates.
  • These may include class changes, facility closures, program reminders, etc.
  • Turn on your Camera permission if you would like your fitness or water park membership card on your phone.
  • Turn on your Calendar permission if you would like to share special events directly to your calendar.

Get the Latest Field Conditions at a Glance

From main menu, select Facility Conditions.

  • From here you can see the parks, fields or facilities that are open and playable.
  • “Subscribe” to the parks, fields or facilities that you would like notifications for. If you subscribe to Coyote Crossing Mini Golf, for example, you can receive notifications about the facility when it is selected in Notifications.

Subscribe to the Content YOU Want

From main menu, select Notifications.

  • Select the “channels” you would like to subscribe to. You can also unsubscribe at any time. You will be notified of any updates to the channels you subscribed to. Examples: an event is rained out and gets moved inside, the water park closes due to lightning, a group fitness class is canceled.
  • Using the “+” symbol on the right of each channel, you can drill down to more specific channels that suit your interests. Examples: Programs-Youth: you can select Dance, Theatre, Preschool.

Check-In with Your Virtual Pass

From main menu, select Virtual Passes if you have a membership card you would like to place on the APP. This way you no longer have to remember your plastic membership card. You can use your phone to scan into the fitness center or water park. Your camera must be in the ON position in the

  • Select “Add Virtual Pass”. The Camera mode opens and you may take a picture of your membership card (barcode side). If you do not have a membership card, the front desk can provide you with a barcode to photograph, but you will have to visit in person.
  • Name your pass (Barcode Name). Example, Fitness Center or Water Park.
  • To place your pass on the home screen of the APP for quick access, select the gray circle with the house. You will be asked if it’s OK to add your pass. Select OK. The circle with the house will become purple and you will see the virtual pass at the top of the APP home screen.

  • Go right to Registration to sign up for an event, membership or program
  • See Promotions – sales, specials
  • How does your team rate? Check the Quickscores.
  • Check the group fitness schedule for member classes
  • Go to Contacts for park district phone numbers and emails
