Volunteers are essential to the success of our programs and special events. Join the team of volunteers who contribute their time, energy and enthusiasm to the Carol Stream Park District. With opportunities to volunteer with programs or events and acres of parklands, Carol Stream Park District is a great place to lend your time or talent. Help out at a one-day event, coach a sports team, beautify a park or work with children, we invite you to become a valuable member of our team.
Give back to your community through volunteering, complete volunteer hours for school, develop leadership skills, or become an assistant in a program you’re passionate about. We offer a variety of events, year-round, which need assistance including set-up, running activity stations, serving refreshments, and clean up.

Volunteering with the park district is a great way to meet and socialize with others, share your expertise, help fellow community members and have fun! All volunteers are invited to attend our Volunteer Appreciation Night at Coral Cove Water Park one evening in August. This event is free and all who are invited may bring their families too.
Background checks are needed for all volunteers and are completed in-house.
