What causes you to grieve deeply? When we keep that to ourselves, we remain disconnected. We cannot grow or participate in the healing of our selves or our world—unless we open up to others.

I’m struck how many people who so value love and compassion remain largely isolated from others who share similar commitments. Creating real connections or real community takes a commitment to honesty discern about who we are and what we value. It takes a commitment to reach out to others and discover shared commitments.

Love with Courage aims to:
– share my reflections as a fellow sojourner learning to love with courage
– encourage us all to live with greater power, joy, and vision
– bring people who are similarly heartbroken to stand together
– offer specific ways to act on our hope and sorrow
– and, most simply, to make connections for meaningful change

When we learn to “love with courage” we make room for the joy and energy of real connection. Possibilities emerge, and we ordinary human beings are capable of bringing forth the extraordinary.

Follow Love with Courage on Facebook and Twitter.

It is time for people of compassion, regardless of faith, to join together!

Recent Blog Posts

Video: Taking the Path of Risk

Five years into my ministry at Unity Temple, the congregation was designated a “Breakthrough Congregation” by the Unitarian Universalist Association because of the congregation’s rapid growth and expanded social outreach.
